Can one zest a lemon on one’s food on Shabbat?

    It would seem that a zester would be forbidden to use on Shabbos because the only way that it is permissible to grate food on Shabbat is by making sure that whatever is being grated is not grated too small. In effect, a zester is a form of a grater and using it on Shabbos would be an prohibition of tochen (grinding).
