Whiskey Touched by Non-Jew

Question

According to poskim who’re machmir/prohibit whiskey aged in non kosher wine due to stam Yayin, if there was whiskey which was aged in kosher wine and then touched by a non Jew, is it prohibited, or permitted since the wine is bittul B’dieved? Sources please

  1. Whiskey is not wine and there is no problem with a non-Jew touching an open bottle of whiskey. Even those Poskim who rule that the sherry casks (and the like) are problematic do not suggest that such casks turn the whiskey into wine.
