Answers
It is extremely highly recommended to study Torah with another person or with a group. In this manner, if one’s ideas are not correct, there is a partner, teacher or others to discuss the issue together with and then arrive at the correct understanding.
Review of material that one has already studied, however, is fine to do alone.
And if you cannot find a study partner or group to study with, it is important at least to study from a text that has a clear and Torah-true commentary, in order to make sure that the material is relatively easy to understand correctly.
