Standing for the Amidah

If one is unsteady on their feet to the point of blacking out, should one stand for the Amida?

    No, absolutely not. Under such circumstances the person should wait until they are able to daven with Kavanah, and then, if necessary, daven while sitting down. If they are sitting, they should bow at all the places they would have bowed if they were standing.
