Answers
The Torah commanded the High Priest to sprinkle the blood om Yom Kippur. There are seven sprinklings to represent the seven days of the week. In general, the number seven always represents the natural cycle (the seven days of Creation and the seven days of the week are the classic examples). The one sprinkling above represents the spiritual dimensions that exists within nature, and the seven sprinklings below represent the physical realms.
