Who is Cush?

Question

is Cush descendants from Ha, are they a people and are they black. I am asking because I am debating the “Black Hebrew Israelites” I know what the midrash Talmud say about Ham, but I am not sure if there was a whole tribe Cush / cushites.

    It is somewhat of a moot question as it is impossible to know who is from Cush nowadays. The Rambam, discussing the mitzvah of exterminating the Seven Nations states that after the dispersion of Sancheriv we can no longer identify any nation.
