Answers
All the Jewish Festivals are beautiful and looked forward to. But the most significant day of the year is Yom Kippur – the Day of Atonement. It is a day that is designated for heartfelt prayer and asking for forgiveness from God for all the actions that we have done that go against His Will and that have been hurtful to others. Yom Kippur is a twenty-five hour Fast, and a day that is spent mostly in the Synagogue, deep in prayer and introspection. It is an uplifting day of great solemnity that is mixed with great joy.
