Visiting the Klementium Library
Question
We are planning a trip to Prague and wondered whether it is permissible to visit the Klementium Library, which from 1655 to 1722 was a monastery.
Since the 18th century it has served as a Jesuit college, and the last few centuries as a library.
Is one permitted to visit if it was once a monastery?
Thank you
Answers
I must confess to not being sure whether it was permitted or not, and so I asked a prominent authority. He told me that due to time constraints he does not have time to explain – but that it is permitted to visit the Klementium Library.
I wish you a memorable trip!
