Answers
The Urim and Tumim was a piece of parchment that had the Ineffable Name written on it. It was placed inside a flap made of the same material that the curtains in the Temple were made of. There were twelve precious and semi-precious stones that had letters etched into them, which would light up when the High Priest asked the questions. He would then decipher the order of the letters to understand the answer. The Urim and Tumim were concealed before the destruction of the First Temple, and they will be “unearthed” to be used again during the Messianic Era.
