If Judith was the wife of Esau and a Hittite, then why do so many Jews have her name?

    Our Sages teach that Yehudit was not her real name. Esav changed her name and that of the second wife he took to try and fool his parents into thinking that they were Monotheists and that they had accepted upon themselves the belief system of Yitzchak and Rivka.
