Answers
The night of Passover was a time for everyone to gather in their homes and sing praises to God for everything that He has done for the Jewish nation. In Temple times, people would leave their homes to go up on to the rooftops to eat the Paschal Lamb. After eating, they would sleep for the few remaining hours until dawn, or stay up and continue singing songs of praise and recounting the significance of the “Festival of Freedom.”
