Spotting from IUD

Question

Hi – Do I need to go to the mikvah if I had some blood spotting after having an IUD (birth control) inserted and not any period.

    Unfortunately, one of the main drawbacks of IUDs is that they can cause spotting. Because the blood originates in the same place that the blood from the period, it means that it makes you Niddah and it carries with it all the same obligations.
