    Psalm 47 relates what will happen after the defeat of the enemies of God and the Jews at the End of Days. At that point, it will be clear that God protected His Chosen Nation, and the other nations of the world will wonder at His might. The Rabbis, therefore, explain in verse ten (not nine) in the original Hebrew, that the “shields of the earth are God’s Powers.
