Reciting Poem at Sheva Brachos

Question

I know women’s singing is not allowed in front of men who are not related to u but is rhyming okay? like a women saying a poem at Sheva Brachos? (which men are attending) please answer asap because I want to say it at shabbos Sheva Brachos in a few days

    I, personally, think that it is permitted so long as you do not sing. Some authorities rule that it might be lacking in modesty. However, their ruling is for all public speaking – not just for poems and the like.

    If you do speak at the Sheva Brochos, I hope that it is a resounding (pun intended) success!
