Raw Butter

Hi Rabbi – Does raw butter need to have a hechsher? The only ingredient it is made from is raw cream from cows milk – unpasteurized and straight from a farm. https://swrfmarket.com/products/raw-cow-unsalted-butter-1lb

    I could not find anything definitive online about the Kashrus of raw butter. I would suggest that you contact one of the large kashrus authorities such as the OU (www.ou.org) or the Star K (www.star-k.org) as I am sure that they will be able to give you a conlusive answer.
