Answers
Quinoa is not one of the five grains and therefore one does not make a “Mezonos” blessing over it. Rather, one recites either “Ha’adama” or “Shehakol” – depending on how it is used. If it is ground up and used as flour (which is how they make quinoa noodles) it is “Shehakol”. If it is eaten whole, the correct blessing is “Ha’adama”.
