Purpose of the Exile
When I study Jewish history, I found out that most of the years have passed Jewish nation in the state of exile. It’s very unique to Jews, and no other nation has experienced such a lengthy galut. Exile causes great pain. Why has HaShem put Jews into the such a long exile. What’s the purpose of exile. What benefit is there to go through such a painful galut?

Since exile is punishment for serious transgressions, in particular that of baseless hatred, it is a time for repenting and changing our ways to once again be close to God – and merit that His Divine Presence dwell among us in a physical Beit Hamikdash as before. May the nation merit achieving this very soon and merit the ingathering of the exiles to the Holy Land, with God as KIng.
