is prostate massage (milking the prostate) allowed, if done by one self?

    According to the Halacha, it is forbidden to do anything that might be the cause of spilling seed in vain. This would mean that massaging the prostrate would be forbidden. If, however, there is a medical reason to need to do it, the person would need to approach a recognized authority with whom he can discuss the various issues, and then the authority can give him a definitive ruling.
