Popularity of E-Games

Nowadays, e-games are popular worldwide. Many young people in South Korea are addicted to e-games like League Of Legend. Parents are worrying about their children’s game addiction.
How about Jewish youth? Are they also crazy about e-games? What is the most popular pastime of the Orthodox Jewish young people?

In many Orthodox communities, the children have very limited access to technology. That means that in their spare time they tend to play outside, ride bicycles and read books. It may sound a little old-fashioned, but parents do not want their children addicted to e-games and the like because they do nothing to advance a child’s natural curiosity – and they waste huge amounts of time.
But not all parents are quite so careful with how their children are spending their spare time, and, unsurprisingly, they complain how their children are distracted and unable to focus on anything other than their phones and computers!
