Answers
The Jewish status of a baby born through Non-Jewish surrogacy is a little complicated. The general consensus of opinion among the Halachic authorities is that the baby should be converted while still in infancy, to ensure that there are no questions of theןר Jewishness. However, as with all such delicate and sensitive situations, a Rav who is a recognized expert in these areas should be consulted for a definitive ruling.
