Does a black ranch mink coat need to have a shatnez test?

    If there is any wool or linen in the coat (lining, button thread, shoulder pads etc.) then it needs to be tested for shaatnez (forbidden mixture of wool and linen).

    In any event, it sounds like a magnificent coat!
