Minhag of Ba’al Teshuvah Couple

Question

According to Halacha, minhag of a married couple follows the husband. What is the Halacha about the minhag for a secular married couple who become Baalei Teshuvah later on? What about a religious woman who marriages a secular man who later becomes a Baal Teshuvah?

    A Ba’al Teshuvah couple have the opportunity to choose their minhagim. Many follow the minhagim of the husband’s Rav or the minhagim of the Yeshivah they were in. In the case of your last question, they should consult with a local Orthodox Rabbi.
