Messiah – Will He Fight Battles and Build the Temple?

I appreciate your time and patience in answering questions,

It has been my understanding that Messiah will lead the people into battle and also to build the future temple. Is this incorrect, since it seems the one who builds the temple should not be a man of war? 1 Chronicles 22:8

    According to Jewish tradition, there will be an apocryphal war and it will seems as if the Jewish nation is on the verge of complete destruction. However, God will intervene directly and all kinds of miraculous occurrences will take place. After the destruction of our enemies, the Messiah will revel his identity and the Holy temple will be rebuilt.
