Lunchbox on Passover

Question

Can a plastic lunch box, a woven picnic basket, or any similar container designed for transporting food that is clean and dry that has previously been used often to carry chametz in smaller containers placed inside, but is clean at the moment, be used on Passover?

    If the chametz food that was placed in the lunchbox was all in individual containers and no food actually came into contact with the lunchbox directly, it is permissible to use the lunchbox over Pesach after it has had a thorough cleaning.
