Dear Rabbi, how can we stop telling lies?

    It is a tremendously difficult thing to do. The only thing that can truly help a person not to lie is by internalizing the knowledge that no one ever ultimately gained by lying. As well as that, one needs to always remember that the Torah states that lying is forbidden, as it says,”Distance yourself from falsehood.”
