Answers
There is no one universal approach to homeschooling in Jewish Law. There are many occasions when it is absolutely the correct thing to do, and there are many times when it is not the right approach. How can that be? Because everything is dependent on the situation and the educational choices that are available. The child’s personality and educational needs are a vital component in the decision. What Judaism does promote is asking a spiritual mentor who is an expert in educational issues what they feel is the correct thing to do, and then to follow their advice.
