In theory, any name can be transliterated into Hebrew and become a person’s Jewish name. However, the Rabbis teach us that a person’s name is closely related to their spiritual potential and their soul. If so, it would be a shame to turn a non-Jewish name into one’s Jewish name. Personally, I would suggest for anyone who was never given a Jewish name to give themselves a Jewish name that they feel a particular affinity to, and to use that name as their Jewish name.
