Friendship with Anti-Semite

Question

Is there a prohibition in Halacha against being friends with an avowed antisemite? By that, I mean a person who has openly stated they hate or have negative feelings or beliefs about Jews and/or Israel. All despite their willingness to be friends with an individual Jew.

    I do not think that there is an Halachic issues against being friends with such a person but I must confess to being at a loss as to why someone would want to be friends with an avowed anti-Semite
