Error with Sim Shalom/Shalom Rav

Question

If one mistakenly recites the wrong paragraph in the last blessing of Amidah (Sim Shalom or Shalom Rav), must the Amidah be repeated?

  1. If Shalom Rav was mistakenly recited instead of Sim Shalom, one does not have to daven again. If, however, one was still in the middle of the Bracha and realized that they had recited Shalom Rav by mistake, then they should go back to the beginning of the Bracha. But, if it was the other way around, and one found themselves saying Sim Shalom instead of Shalom Rav, there is no need to go back to the beginning of the Bracha.
