Am I allowed to cut my nails erev Tom Tov Chol Hamoad?

    The Shulchan Aruch rules that one may cut nails on Chol HaMoed. However, the Rema rules that one should not and that is the accepted ruling for the Ashkenazim. However, having said that, the Be’er Heitev writes that someone who regularly cuts their nails on Erev Shabbos may do so on Chol HaMoed as well.
