Candle-Lighting Time for Shabbat

Question

Hi

When lighting candles for Shabbat do you light before the minute on the calendar? In the US.

Or do you light it from that time within 18 mins?

    It is best to light as close to the time that appears on the calendar, but, if needs be, one can light within eighteen minutes after the time (in the US – but the closer to the printed time, the better).
