  1. It depends on which command. Although the Ten Commandments that were engraved on the Tablets of the Covenant that was made at Mount Sinai – when the Torah was given the Jewish People – there is an aspect of the Torah that applies to all of Mankind, and some themes have universal application.

    For example, idolatry is forbidden to all, theft and murder are forbidden to all, and adultery is forbidden to all. But the mitzvah of keeping the Sabbath, for example, is only directed to the Jewish nation.
