Question
Hi Rabbi , why does the holiday of Succot last for eight days instead of seven days like Passover? Ty

Question
Dear Rabbi, when Succot is over what does one do with the etrog and luvav? I noticed in my shul that the lulav is placed on top of the Aron Kodesh (the Holy Ark)? There's also one member of our congregation who collects them to make some sort of pie, I think. Could you kindly reply with an explanation? Thank you.

Question
Shalom aleichem Rabbi Lauffer. Thank you for answering my last question. If someone has a web of connected Xmas lights hanging from the schach that are strung across the entire width and breadth of his sukkah, would these lights be considered more than 4 tefachim wide, so that one would not be permitted to sit under them if they are 4 tefachim lower than the schach, or would they not be considered to be more than 4 tefachim wide. Thank you.

Question
What is the view in Jewish law of one who fails to fulfill the mitzvah of sukkah either because they cannot afford a sukkah of their own, or they have no place to build one where they live, or for any other reason they do not have access to a sukkah?

Question
Hi, is there something unique about doing the mitzvah of living in a succah during the holiday of Succot?

Question
Dear Rabbi, can you please explain to me the mitzvah of the “four species” and what’s special about it? Thanks!

Question
Dear Rabbi, I heard that there's a special connection between living in Israel and the mitzvah to sit in a succah during the festival of Succot. Would you please explain this idea? Thanks!

Question
How to I observe Sukkot, I live in an apartment? Also, during Sukkot, do we just eat in the sukkah or eat and sleep?

Question
Dear Rabbi, is there any special way to store a succah after Succot is over?

Question
A neighbor has a very small succah and when I asked if it's big enough he told me that even 7x7 handbreadths width and length, and 10 handbreadths tall, is kosher for the mitzvah. How is this possible, since the mitzvah is to dwell there for seven days, and who dwells in a house that is that small!?
