Question
I have a Jewish doctor that I have been seeing for many years who has always provided me with excellent care. I was wondering if it would be appropriate to send my doctor a Rosh Hashanah greeting card. Please let me know.

Question
Tashlich My great aunt gave me a card with a version of the Tashlich prayer. This card must be over 50 years old. The prayer contains in Hebrew: (1) Micah Chap 7, verses 18-19 (2) The following words: וְכָל־חַטֹאת עַמְךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל תַשְׁלִיךְ בִּמְקוֹם אַשֶׁר לֹא יִזָכְרוּ וְלֹא יִפָּקְדוּ וְלֹא יַעַלוּ עַל־לֵב לְעוֹלָם׃ (3) Micah Chap 7, verse 20 Where do the words in item 2 come from? I looked up Tashlich on several websites and prayer books and could not find these words. The prayer book for Rosh Hashanah contains additional verses that may be recited. However, the words in item 2 are not included. Thanks.

Question
Dear Rabbi, During these days of Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, I hear the word “teshuva” quite often. What does it mean and why is it so important? Thanks!
