Question
I believe God is the all possibilities in the universe. If God is all powerful, then He is it and it is Him. Also, this explains God's plan thing, because He needs everything - good or bad - just to exist. I want to know what a rabbi thinks of this thought.

Question
Christians argue that the use of the Hebrew word for one "Echad" in Deuteronomy 6:4, rather than the word unique "Yachid" teaches that God is a "composite unity" instead of an "absolute unity." (ref. Genesis 1:5; 2:24; etc). Does this phrase always mean "composite unity"?

Question
Hi Rabbi, I was wondering how it can be determined that the Torah was truly given by the Almighty and not by a person? Thanks and Shabbat Shalom.

Question
Question 1) What is the difference between Adonai and Adoni? I saw a site that mentioned that Adonai refers to divinity, but Adoni does not. That is, what is stated in the Psalm 110 refers to a person other than G-d, in the sense of divinity. But, for example, when Obadiah tells Elijah that Edoni does not refer to divinity. (1 Kings 18:7,13) Question 2) Why are these two (Adonai and Adoni) written similarly but pronounced differently?

Question
Hello, I have some confusion reading the book of Samuel. Using the premise that God knows the past and future. (Isaiah 46:10) Here is confusion: God chose Saul to be king, later God says he is grieved that he made Saul king. How can God grieve a decision to make Saul king when He knew already Saul would be a bad choice for king? Human example: Let's say a person wanted to buy a home on a particular river and did not want it to be ever flooded. So he finds a lot available for sale on the river. Now this person knows that in the future the river will flood that lot every year for the next 10 years because he knows the future that it will flood. How could that person grieve his choice to buy the lot knowing it will flood??? It just makes no sense to me.

Question
In the Garden of Eden God wanted to make the first two humans. He makes Adam the first man. Then he makes Eve the first woman by taking one of his ribs out and creating woman.(Adam was lonely with only the animals to be with) Now we have the first Man and Woman on earth. Then later it mentions that Adam had to leave his father and mother to be one with Eve. If they are first two humans, then they could not have had a father and mother. 24 Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh. Please explain how this makes sense.   Then there is the problem that says Adam and Eve life was less then 10,000 years ago. But carbon dating puts skeletal remains of men or woman at 100,000 years plus years ago. Thanks, Brad
