Thank you in advance for this resource and your time and knowledge. My questions are simple and I look forward to their answers. Can you provide a source solely from the Tanach for the following claims: 1) That Gd gave Moses two torahs -- the second one being the oral Torah; and, 2) That the Tanach gives Rabbis authority to interpret the Torah and rule over its meaning. Learning Midrash Tanchumah , in Parshat Yitro , I found a reference regarding 3 types of gerim (converts ) that is explained in Midrash Naso, I assume it means Midrash Raba Parashat Naso , but I could not find it. Im new to this judaism world . My grandfather was a German Jew . It’s a ling story anyway . I go to sinagoga to learn . Though I cannot read or speak Hebrew. Like I said . I want to learn most more than other thing . Anyway ….. my question is . i go to a conservative sinagogue. I went to an orthodox sinagogue. Of course I explained my story . They welcomed me . Which was nice . Beautiful experience. And I would like to learn about the Jassidic movement. And to learn the difference between conservative / orthodox and Hasidic. If I go to a hassidic sinagogue. Am I gonna be welcomed or there’s any possibility they might see me with different eyes and reject me ? And tell me I’m not allowed to enter or participate. Well anyway . My intention it’s not to participate but to learn the faith of my grandfather. I did an DNA 🧬 and I do have Jewish DNA from Europe. But it doesn’t say from what country or religious group . שלום עליכם לכולכם, My question is on parashat Bereshit chapter 1. Why did Elokim created Adam in His image while He said "Let us make man in our image?" What about their images, the image of Earth or Angels? Bereshit 1:27 tells us Elokim created Adam in his image, not in their image. If he said Let us make man in our image, then why not it is written, "Elokim created Adam in his image and in their image? thanks
