Question
Hi Rabbi, I have a question that I’m not comfortable about asking my local Rabbi. Once in a while I have thoughts about dying and it frightens me. My wife and friends tell me not to worry about it; that I’m normal and just try to ignore such thoughts and concentrate on happy thoughts. What would you as a Rabbi advise me? Thanks in advance.

Question
Decades ago I read a Jewish scripture that meticulously listed the possible causes, or contributors, of sin, two of which were stipulated and enumerated, among others, as: lack of sleep too much travel among, as I say, other causes or contributors. Do you know which scripture this might have been? I would be grateful to be reminded because I can't for the life of me, recall which book it was. Thank you, kindly, Robert

Question
1)I'm trying to learn if there is any way to not require immersing a steel-lined thermos in a kayleem mikvah (for vessels) if the food is wrapped in plastic or a small plastic closed cup which is then put inside? If not, is there any other way to avoid immersing that you are aware of? 2) There are insulated shopping bags, such as those used to keep pizza warm when delivering or when bringing hot food home. I'm trying to learn if these might be used without immersion. Thanks for your help!

Dear Rabbi, I recently lost my father very suddenly due to a heart attack. I am not somebody who is prone to depression, but rather a generally happy and optimistic person. Nevertheless, his sudden death has left me reeling and I don’t know what to do. Can you please help me deal with this and find a way to continue my same happy life as before? Thanks a million!
