I’ve always understood one is not supposed to waste food according to Jewish law (with destroying chametz before Passover being an obvious exception). What is one supposed to do with old food that is still safely edible, but of a diminished quality that almost no human (or animal) is interested in consuming?

Can a plastic lunch box, a woven picnic basket, or any similar container designed for transporting food that is clean and dry that has previously been used often to carry chametz in smaller containers placed inside, but is clean at the moment, be used on Passover?

Hello, Cooked Pesach meals for Shabbos Hagadol in Pesach pans and dishes but used iodized salt by mistake as I was not aware it may be chometz for Ashkenaz. Do I need new dishes? pots? Thank you Rf

According to Halacha, eulogies are not allowed to be held on Isru Chag of Shavuot, and there is a very strong minhag for the other Isru Chags. My question is, does this also apply to a hesped for a Talmid Chacham?
