If oysters are unclean, why are pearls not? And why are they prized so highly even by Jewish jewlers?

Dear Rabbi, I am trying to find out if their are any additional Mitzvot that we do since 1948 and the reestablishment of a Jewish State in Israel. I Know that there are many Mitzvot can can only be performed in Israel. But I want to know if there are any Mitzvot that can only be performed with Israel is under Jewish Sovereignty

Is it halachically forbidden for a Jew to enter a church or is it customarily unnacceptable ? And why ?

Please explain how to ritually wash hands. Thank you,
