My father passed away in October. What should we do once we have a gravestone pt on his grave? What is an unveiling? What is the significance of a bris? My sister-in-law had her newborn son circumcised in the hospital but didn't wanta bris. Both parents are Jewish. Does this mean that the boy is not Jewish? Thanks.

The weather is getting beautify and it is still mild so I was thinking of taking a nice walk with my 13 year old on Shabbos (within the Eruv) and was wondering about pre-paying for a soda for us at a grocery store which is close to the park. I know that in place like New York I can pay for a dinner for Shabbos ahead of time...but I am not sure about a soda or any similiar item. Thanks
