Question
I was wondering if you could tell me whether Rabbi Yaakov Perlow the Novomisker Rebbe is a decendant of the Perlow Hasidic dynasty of Koidenov founded by Shlame Haim Perlow of Koidenov grandson of Rabbi Asher of Stolin.

Question
The weather is getting beautify and it is still mild so I was thinking of taking a nice walk with my 13 year old on Shabbos (within the Eruv) and was wondering about pre-paying for a soda for us at a grocery store which is close to the park. I know that in place like New York I can pay for a dinner for Shabbos ahead of time...but I am not sure about a soda or any similiar item. Thanks

Question
in the pasuk : “Thou shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love the neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord…” why should one love another like they do themselves?

Question
I this pasuk: “Thou shall not take vengeance, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love the neighbor as thyself: I am the Lord…” (vayikra perek, 19, pasuk, 18) I have a few questions: 1. why not take revenge? 2. Why not bear a grusge? 3. Could bearing a grudge actually help teach a person a lesson? If so, should we? 4. what does the pasuk mean by " children of thy people"? 5. Why are these three topic put together in one pasuk? 6. why does the pasuk end with "I am the Lord"?
