Does Buddhism conflict with Juddhism and what is the conflist. I have been told that chanting is a form of meditation and has no conflist with Judism. Is that true and is there such a thing as a Jewidh Buddhist?

If a woman donates her eggs, must she be Jewish for the child to be considered Jewish? What is the religious status of a baby with multiple parents? (e.g. donor, surrogate)

I am expecting my first child in May - a boy. We are planning to have a bris and while I always thought that it had to be done on the 8th day following the birth (barring any medical issues), I have been told by 2 different mohels that it is ok to postpone it past the 8th day and it will still be a mitzvah. This would be great for us since most of our immediate family needs to fly in from out of town and we'd like to be able to schedule it on a Sunday. I'm confused though - I thought that the "8 day rule" was one of those non-negotiable things. Can you please clear this up? (in case it matters, I am reform and my husband is not Jewish, but we plan to raise our children in the Jewish faith)
