We have a custom in our family to color eggs for Lag B'omer, and we know of others around the world that have this custom too. Yet nobody seems to know the origin or source of it. Some people I have asked suggested it is taken from a pagan custom, G-d forbid. Can anyone shed light on this please?

Hi, I asked this question a while ago, and haven't received my follow up response. I've asked whether it's forbideen to listen to non-jewish music and was told that the problem is iwth the lyrics, not the tunes. however, what if the lyrics to a certain song are very approriate to certain occassion or expression of one's feelings?

How can I do teshuva for the many aveiros that I have done. I feel at times that this is impossible. I am too embarresed to discuss them with anyone and at times feel that I should just give up and live the way that feels good even though it makes me feel bad to do the wrong thing thing I do it anyways
