Dear Rabbi Hi, my name is Shane Hewlett, and I am doing a school assignment on the Religion of Judaism, and I need to define the design of Synagogues around the world according to geographical history. My question to you is, "What do the Mosaic pictures on the walls symbolise, and are there pictures of jesus on them". We visited a Synagogue a few weeks back for a school excursion and I noticed the mosaics on the walls, but I forgot what was on them, and I wasn't sure if there was pictures of Jesus on them or not, because some religions don't support having pictures of their prophets and such. I have a question. I ordered my Ketubah for my wedding and I did not get it personalized to save money. My wedding is July 1st 2006 before sun down. So the begining of it will read as "On the 7th day of the week, the 1st day of the month of July in the year 2006 corresponding to the _______ day of the month of _________, the holy covenant of marriage was entered into in Santa Rosa California between etc....." I dont know what to put in the blanks. Can you tell me?? Also, I need to find a website or maybe you can give me a place to translate english to hebrew.
