Question
there was a rumor, in my family, that a first cousin, on lmy grandmother's side was reallly my grandfather, my father's father. i never thought much about this until today when looking thru old family photos i came across a photo of my father, as a child with my grandfather and that particular cousin whom looks exactlly like my father did when he was his age. my father is since deceased along with my grandfather and mother and the cousin. is it wrong to pursue the truth about this? my father would be devastated if he were alive to find this information to be true, he so loved my grandfather that it took him 10 years to get over his death. would it hurt my father in any way even though he is no longer allive? my husband had a very strong reaction when i showed him the picture. he said "that is your grandfather" then he broke down in tears saying how much pain your father is in and that i should abandon anything further about this. I feel an excitement to know. please help me

Question
I am a former Bryn Mawr classmate of Chavy and would like to contact her. Please forward my e-mail address to her. I also have a question: I have a cousin who lives in Yerushalayim who tragically has metastatic breast cancer and may die within the next two months. Her daughter (and only child) will be bat-mitzvah in August. If the mother dies before then should the ceremony proceed? What kind of celebration is allowed? Thank you. Allison August
