there was a rumor, in my family, that a first cousin, on lmy grandmother's side was reallly my grandfather, my father's father. i never thought much about this until today when looking thru old family photos i came across a photo of my father, as a child with my grandfather and that particular cousin whom looks exactlly like my father did when he was his age. my father is since deceased along with my grandfather and mother and the cousin. is it wrong to pursue the truth about this? my father would be devastated if he were alive to find this information to be true, he so loved my grandfather that it took him 10 years to get over his death. would it hurt my father in any way even though he is no longer allive? my husband had a very strong reaction when i showed him the picture. he said "that is your grandfather" then he broke down in tears saying how much pain your father is in and that i should abandon anything further about this. I feel an excitement to know. please help me

My Father turns 90 and I would like to know the significance of his age from a Jewish perspective

my sister lives in sttn island ny. Shes 51 and basically alone alot. She wants to meet a jewish guy but shes shy.Shes overweight and thinks itll make her unatractive.Shes single never married good job own house too. i suffested she join a group at a jcc or jdate but she says ,"when i lose weight" . Life is short i tell her!!Can you advise?. If she were invited to a dinner or social group, shed attend .But to be active she feels too shy and lacks confidence. At 51 shes gotta move already.....any nice jewish men out there interested in a funny hardworking welloff woman ?
