A Connection to Judaism
Question
I read an essay by a Rabbi about conversion to Judaism. He is a Messianic Jewish Rabbi. He said that in some cases non-Jews are attracted to the Jewish faith because they could in fact be Jewish. That they may not know they are and that they may be of the lost tribes receiving a calling to their true roots. He spoke of feeling this deep love for the Jewish people and for the faith. I do not know about my extended family especially my father's side as he passed when I was 7 so i don't know my true religious background. One day, for some reason and I believe it was G-d. I picked up a Bible and never put it down; I've read it before but it was very different this time...it was not a nice story but it was The Truth. I have always had a deep respect for the Jewish people and have loved them and supported and prayed for Israel. I have found a religious home in a Messianic Jewish Synagogue. What are your thoughts on this? Could one be from the lost tribes with a calling to comehome?
