I really need help understanding how to keep the Sabbath. I know it's not okay to do schoolwork or other work on the Sabbath, but how about things that are not work, and are not directly related to the Sabbath, and are just for fun-- like going to movies and concerts with friends? Thanks a lot.

I once learnt that some great chacham said he had learnt drash his whole life and so one day he realized he never learnt the pshat correctly. What's the source for this? Also, where does Rashi bring up the importance of pshat in Bereisheit? Thanks
