Question
If a toddler receives a hatafat dam brit - is it done with his prior knowledge and consent? Or, just casually worked in when he is unaware? Like when he is getting changed? So if the child is around 3 or 4 - he may be treated with more dignity and respect and not like an infant. Or, could depend on the parents preference how they would like to arrange it. They may choose to go about it in a,more subtle manner so not to upset or worry about it.

Question
How is it that David seems to have broken the Torah and put the ark in a tent of his choosing when the tent of Moses was 10 km away and still functioning? What is the proper Jewish thought towards David's actions? How did he get away with being a priest?

Question
Shalom, I hope my question makes some kind of sense. Regarding the many writings of King David telling of the goodness of G-d, is he only referring to the many wonderful acts and blessings that G-d did for him, or is he talking of simply God’s goodness, just because He is G-d? What IS the goodness of G-d? Am I making the goodness of G-d more than it is? I know that my question(s) may seem juvenile, but, I expressed it the best way I could. Thank you for any help.

Question
A friend invited me to her house on Saturday night 12/21 at 7:00pm and asked me to bring challah for Shabbat. I told her Shabbat was over, but I could still bring the challah. She told me that it's okay to extend Shabbat until Tuesday if you wanted to. I find it hard to believe that you can just change the rules just because you feel like it. She insists that you can end Shabbat whenever you want up until Tuesday night. I would think you'd need a better reason that just because you feel like it. What's the Jewish law about choosing your own end time for Shabbat?
