Question
Generally speaking, what is the difference in halachic methodology between orthodox rabbis (like Joseph Soloveitchik or Mordechai Eliyahu) and conservative rabbis like Saul Lieberman and Elliot Dorff for how they make responsa?

Question
Hello, In the past millennia or so, why did so many Jewish people end up in Europe (and eventually North America) and settling there instead of the East like the Orient? Did Jews prefer the Western cultures or lands over the East was it just pure coincidence or circumstances? Why did history turn out that way? As someone of Far East Asian descent who admires Jewish culture, it saddens me a little there isn't much Jewish history in China, Korea, Japan compared to Europe like Germany, France, Italy, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania, Poland, etc.

Question
I have read a lot about what went on throughout different time periods of Jewish history, but I have found nothing that took place between the 7th and 10th centuries, and very little even in those centuries. Why is that? What were Jews up to in that time period?

Question
I have heard of a new and emerging medical technology called organ farming. There are many people across the world who die every day due to the shortage of organs. Organ farming is where a genetically manipulated cow or pig (mostly a pig) is implanted with an embryo has been changed to have some human stem cells, so that the animal they give birth to is a pig but with say, a human liver. This organ would also have a better chance at lasting in the persons body, as the stem cell would come from the human who needs the liver. I am interested in what the Jewish perspective would be on this medical technology, and if it is accepted as a possible option for a Jew who urgently needs an organ.
